Simple Divorce

If your application is a Simple divorce it will be

• Your spouse is willing to sign the application and you will be able to organise this yourself.
• You have been separated for more than 12 months and living under a separate roof  and your spouse will not dispute this
• You have no children under 18years of age
• There is no requirement to attend court on your behalf.
• You have all documentation required for to completion of the divorce process

the likely cost to divorce is :-

• $595.00 (incl GST) plus Court fees if appropriate (Currently $800.00)

Total payable $1,395.00 (incl. GST)

We note that this cost includes one attempt at service of documents. Any further attempts will be charged at a flat rate of $88.00 inclusive of GST for service inside Australia. Quotes for international service will be provided upon request.

Standard Divorce

If your application is a standard divorce it will be

• You know where your spouse resides and when they will be at home or they are legally represented so that we can serve the divorce application on them.
• You have been separated for more than 12 months and living under a separate roof and your spouse will not dispute this
• You have no children under 18years of age OR
• You have children who are under 18years of age and you have court sealed orders outlining the arrangements for the children.
• We may need to attend court on your behalf.
• You have all documentation required for to completion of the divorce process.
• The application is not apposed

the likely cost to divorce is :-

• Application fee of $895.00 (incl GST) plus
• Court fees if appropriate ( Currently $800.00)

Total payable $1,695.00 (incl. GST)

Complex Divorce

If your application is a Complex divorce it will be the same as a standard divorce

• You may have resided in the same residence for the last 12 months

• Application fee                                                                $895.00 (incl GST) plus
• Court fees if appropriate                                             $800.00 no GST (If Applicable)
• Completion of 2 affidavits –
  • Separation under the same roof,             $165 each (incl GST)

Total payable $2,025.00 (incl. GST)

Other Divorce Matters

Very occasionally, online divorce applications are more complicated than those described in this section, for example, if an application is likely to be opposed, or if you do not know the whereabouts of your former partner.
